In Remembrance of…

Our dear friend William Thorne Kerber; as many of you know Bill Kerber lost his battle with amyloidosis July 31, 2011. Services were held for him on August 6 in Iowa. The Goodwood Volunteers are planning memorial services at Goodwood in late September or early October and more details will be available at a later date. He will be remembered as the leader of the propagation and annual Old Garden Rose sales at Goodwood. He willingly shared his love and knowledge of roses with rosarians. Many of us have lost a true friend and we extend our sympathy to his family.
