The Pensacola Rose Society, the Tallahassee Area Rose Society and the Thomasville Rose Society will host an Exhibitor’s School on Saturday, June 9 at Jubilee Cottage, Goodwood Museum and Gardens, 1600 Miccosukee Rd., Tallahassee, Florida. There is no registration fee, but you are asked to let Glenn Schulman know by June 7, that you plan to come so that necessary space, supplies and lunches can be provided.
There will be information on horticulture, arrangement and photography divisions in rose shows and will be for beginners and experienced exhibitors. Presenters will share their experiences on what works and what doesn’t work when entering a local, district or national rose show both in preparation and the day of the show. There will be some time for questions, answers and hands-on experience. The scheduled presenters are Glenn Schulman, Bill Price, Joanne Maxheimer and Mona Lisa Abbott.
The day begins at 9:00 am with welcome, coffee and snacks. Programs on horticulture will be in the morning sessions and arrangements and photography will be after lunch. Lunch will be provided. We plan to adjourn at 3:00 pm so that many participants may return home on the same day. Please make your own reservations if you plan to spend the night.
If you want to learn what experienced exhibitors do and want to become a better exhibitor, this is an opportunity to learn from other successful winning exhibitors. We hope that you will plan to come.
