Monthly Meetings

TARS monthly meetings are held in the evening on the first Thursday of the month except for May, June, July and December.

We first conduct a brief business meeting, followed by an educational program presented by a guest speaker. We wrap things up with light refreshments and conversation. Everyone is welcome.

Next Monthly Meeting: Thursday evening, August 6, 2026, starting at 5:30 pm in the Leon County Main Library's Meeting Room A on the first floor. LeAnna Willison, Consulting Rosarian and winner of many awards for her outstanding rose photos, will be the featured speaker at this meeting. We also will have a contest to see who can bring the ugliest rose. Come to the meeting for snacks, camaraderie, to learn how to take even more gorgeous rose photos, and bring your ugliest rose for the competition!
